Ulysses S. Grant
Ulysses S. Grant smoked at least 20 cigars a day and, after a brilliant war victory, a nation of well wishers sent him more than 10,000 cigars. He later died of throat cancer.

Accessibility
All galleries and restrooms at the Frazier Museum are wheelchair accessible. You may request a wheelchair at the time of your visit at the Admissions Desk. Wheelchairs are complimentary and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call (502) 753-5663.
Audio Tours
Take an exciting journey through history with audio tours for our permanent galleries. Headset rentals are $2.
Cameras
Cameras are welcome at the Frazier Museum. Still photography for personal use is permitted, unless otherwise designated. Please note, however, that the use of flash photography, video cameras or tripods is not allowed without special permission. If you have questions about photography policies, please e-mail the Public Relations and Marketing Department.
Chaperon requirement for guests under 16 years of age
For safety reasons, we ask that children under the age of 16 years of age be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older at all times.
Complimentary Services
We provide free coat and bag check for your convenience. Louisville Slugger bats and mini-bats and umbrellas must be checked before entering the museum.
Food and Drink
Food and drink are not allowed in the museum’s galleries. Food and drink are permitted and available for purchase in the Museum Store on the first floor, as well as in special event spaces.
Museum Temperature
To protect and preserve museum artifacts, the Frazier History Museum is kept at a constant temperature of 68 degrees. A light jacket or wrap is recommended for guests.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited at all times inside the Frazier Museum, including the Frazier Roof Garden.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located on all floors of the Frazier Museum. All restrooms are wheelchair-accessible, with baby-changing stations. Drinking fountains are provided at each restroom location.
Re-Entry
You may exit the museum and return later in the day if you would like. Just remember to hold on to your receipt to present when you return.
Strollers
Baby strollers are permitted at all times in all museum galleries. For your convenience, complimentary strollers are available for loan from the Admissions Desk on a first-come, first-served basis.
