Royal Armouries USA
The Frazier Museum has the distinction of being the only place in the world outside Great Britain to permanently house and display Royal Armouries artifacts.
This collection tells the story of more than 1,000 years of British and world history from the Early Middle Ages to the end of the British Empire at the start of the 20th century.
The culture and conflicts of these developing nations are brought to life via life-like tableaux and rare artifacts, featuring objects such as intricate armor worn by knights and the arrows, cannons and muskets that forged an empire.
Trace the history of Britain’s Royal Armouries (including the famous Tower of London) and European arms dating back to the 11th century in a series of periodically changing displays.
Here, you can learn about these historic periods:
- Medieval England
- The Tudors and the Stuarts
- The British Empire-18th century
- The colonization of America and the Slave Trade
- The British Empire-19th century
